EVERY SATURDAY: 10am till 2pm
FROM 30 Oct till 5 Dec 2010
AT: 20 WHITINGTON ST, FRANKLIN

"HOME" Officially opened by Hilary Wardhaugh: 28 Oct 2010

My "Home" exhibition officially opening last Thursday night at 20 Whitington St Franklin. Hilary Wardhaugh gave a few words and opened the exhibition with 30 quests at Jigsaw's 8 star rated sustainable home.  The exhibition is open for viewing between 10am and 2pm every Saturday till the 5 December.

All images in this exhibition have been printed and stretched onto canvas and hung throughout a 3 bedroom  new home. I have used diverse imagery depicting the theme of 'home'. Within each of the three bedrooms I  photographed individual families and created a pictorial canvas montage of what their home is them. Then throughout the main living areas I chose imagery people said they would hang in their homes, including Australian flora and fauna.

This is a very colourful exhibition, so if you are interested in what a 8 star sustainable house has to offer plus interested in viewing a unique photographic exhibition on the concept of 'home' - in a home, then you will surely not be disappointed.

Here are a few images from a very enjoyable and fun exhibition opening:

 A sea of tulips

A guest viewing a mosaic of imagery (in the main bedroom) from one of the families I photographed

Jennifer (friend) and Maddy from PPR

Colin and Alice (not in picture) were one family I photographed. Colin visited the exhibition with friend Gwen, and myself
